In the morning drive to Chengdu Giant Panda Base of Breeding and Research. Founder in 1985, today there are over 50 giant panda living here.
Then move to the Museum of Sichuan Cuisine in Pixian County. With concrete exhibits and interactive activities, the museum offers you A to Z knowledge of everything you want to know about Sichuan style food. You can also learn how to cook the Sichuan dishes here. The Museum is also a beautiful garden. In the garden you will explore the vegetables in the field and chickens in the fence, and the most interesting is that you will see the manufacture of the Pixain Douban. Afterwards we will commence our Sichuan cuisine cooking course at tthe Museum of Sichuan Cuisine: we’ll learn to cook two famous and popular Sichuan dishes with the help of professional cook: Mapo Tofu (bean curd), Gong Bao (Kung Pao) Chicken or shredded pork with garlic sauce (Yu Xiang Rou Si). After the cooking class, the Rthe Museum of Sichuan Cuisine will issue certificate for every student. Of course, we’ll have dinner at the the Museum of Sichuan Cuisine, we’ll taste the authentic Sichuan dishes and also the dishes which are made by ourselves. Late in the afternoon drive back to Chengdu. Service ended.
